Pikria has been working with clients for over ten years and continues her commitment to help her clients improve the quality of their lives. Pikria has worked in a variety of settings, including not-for-profit, university research clinic, government, private mental health hospital and private practice. 

Pikria’s approach is compassionate, collaborative and strength-based. She believes in creating a therapeutic space, where people feel safe and supported to share their vulnerabilities. Pikria uses an integrated style in her sessions, drawing from various evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. 

Clients who consult Pikria are usually older adolescents aged 16+ and professional adults wanting help in the following areas:

Pikria is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a credentialed eating disorder clinician.
